Adjustable Boost Controller

Increase fast boost response with two adjustable boost levels. Toggle between high and low boost on the fly. Ideal replacement for factory boost controllers. Both high and low boost settings are fully adjustable. Improve turbo response by up to 800 rpm earlier in the rev range ? this means that you can increase the performance and response from your engine without even raising the maximum boost level. Manufactured from high-grade billet aluminium, it allows for accurate and simple tuning of boost pressure. This Dual Stage Boost Control Valve range is ideal for mildly modified turbocharged engines and perfect for increasing boost levels on factory turbo cars and turbocharged engines.

Wastegate

Wastegates provide a means to control the boost pressure of the turbo charged engine. Wastegates work to bypass exhaust flow from the turbine wheel. Bypassing the exhaust flow reduces the power driving the turbine wheel to match the power required for a given boost level. Similar to the BOV, the Wastegates uses boost pressure and spring force to regulate the flow bypassing the turbine.

Wastegates are bolted to exhaust manifold or header. The advantage of external Wastegates is that the bypassed flow can be reintroduced into the exhaust stream further downstream of the turbine. This tends to improve the turbine's performance.
